Chickens!

I've been some busy lately! Anyways, I've been having nightmares lately. Here's what happens-
I'm at some fancy camp. Shia Lebeouf is there, it's really odd. Then all off the sudden giant chickens come down from the sky. I try to hide in a bush, but the bush turns out to be a chicken. Then the chicken eats me.
The next night I fell asleep, and my dream was a little different. I can see anything and it's pitch black. My dad says,"Makenzie." I say,"What." He says,"The chickens are back." Then my mom says," And their new." then I hear a chicken and a scream. I understood the "and their new" thing while I was sleeping, but I just don't get it anymore. It was really odd. Can anyone guess what that dream means.

Hi! I've been gone for the past two weeks! The first week i was at beach camp in Port Aransas! It was great! I got a terrible sunburn, and they called me the lobster. The second week I was at my grandparents' houses. At my Grammy's house I went to the Jonas Brothers World Tour kickoff concert. It was the best. Well, thats all.

Lots to talk about. School ended! I'm gunna miss all my budies at school. Shout out to Madison, Tim, Collin, Alex, Barrett, Chris, Victoria, Joey, Melony, Morgan, Bethany, Amber, Alyssa, Lynmarie, and Shawna, I LOVE you guys and MISS you MORE THAN YOU IMAGINE!

I've been doing alot, INCLUDING COOKING! I would love to share some recipes with you. I got this out of a Hungry Girl cook book, these recipes are healthy and EXTREMELY DELICIOUS!

Breakfast pizza
127 calories, 1.5 grams of fiber, 22 grams of protein
- 2 cups fat free liquid egg substitute
- 1 cup shredded fat free mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup canned tomato sauce
- 8 tblspoons chopped bell pepper
- 8 tblspoons chopped mushrooms
Season tomato sauce to taste with optional ingredients if desired and set sauce aside. Bring a small pan sprayed with nonstick spray to low heat. Pour in egg substitute. Cover and then cook for 3 minutes, or until egg "crust" starts to form. Carefully flip your egg. Cover and cook for another minute. While egg crust is cooking, microwave chopped veggies for 30 seconds. Next, top your egg crust with tomato sauce, cheese, and then veggies. Cover again and cook over low heat for 2 minutes, or until cheese is melted. If you like, top with optional spices.

I'm so excited! Summer is finally here! I just finished my science final 30 minutes ago and I'm so happy! I want to go swimming! Our pool opened unexpectedly in our neighborhood! I can't wait till the weekend! I'm going to plant a vegetable garden! Does anyone have any tips on planting a garden in the summer?

SO MUCH TO DO SO LITTLE TIME! I have alot coming up, my school's musical is on Thursday. She says it counts as our "final." My science final is on next Thursday or Friday. My English final is a day before my science, and my math final is a little bit after my science final. Ahhhh, I hate finals.
Except I like the musical. What a week, and it's only Tuesday. PRAY FOR ME!

Hey ya'll so sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I've been so busy this past month. We had our sneek preview of my school's production of "The Lion King". I may be able to post the video some time. Over all it was pretty good, can't wait till our final performance on May 14. We've been working really hard. Alot of effort and talent is in this. We were told that we had the best vocal quality of any of the previous performances from the past 26 or 27 years. I'm going to an event next weekend called P.S.I.A. (Private School's Interscholastic Association). This is really a big thing for my school. I'll be in two competitions. One is called Music Memory. I have to memorize a bunch of old songs. It's not really exiting, and I'm not good at it. I got third place in it and someone dropped out (only people who get 1st or 2nd place get to move on to state which is what I'm going to). The other is called Prose Interpretation. I got 1st place in this. I am reading a selection from Cheaper By the Dozen. I like this event. I get to stay in a hotel which is always fun. I totally scraped up my leg and it burns. Pray for Nick and Johanna Burleson who are having their baby this week! Can't wait to see little Bobbinno!

Hey, so sorry that I haven't blogged in a while. I don't know why I haven't. We went camping this week. This time it didn't rain (see my blogs "This Stinks 2"). It was so much fun. We went with the Wests and the Ethridges. I realized that I love pistachious (I call them nistachious).

Today, we found out what half of our parts were. The cast (so far), old Simba- Barrett, old Nala- me, and Rafiki- Katie.
Let me get this straight, "old" Nala is the girl lion just older than the young one. O.K., so that didn't come out the way I wanted it to, but you got the idea right. Anyways, I got the part, but I have to sing "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" with Barrett. I don't want to sing that with Barrett, but whatever.

My Class Party

My party was awesome. There were like 15 of us at the Valentines party (not including adults and Anna). We ate $66 worth of pizza. We also had a chocolate fountain with strawberries, bananas, lemon cakes, heart cookies, rice krispy treats, and red and white mushmallows. We ate way to much. Once we got settled my teacher turned on E.T. I sat there during the movie looking at Morgan, my friend, holding my finger up, saying ouch, and tapping her head. It was fun, and hilarious. Obviously I had to much chocolate because the rest of the day I kept cracking jokes, and I couldn't stop laughing.

For the past week my room has been smelling absolutely terrible. I think it smells like someone pooped in my room. I didn't do anything to cause the smell, so don't get any ideas;). Hey ya'll, I've decided to start reading the Time Quintet series (aka A Wrinkle in Time). These books are awesome. I've decided to start reading books again. I've been able to find time to read lately. I'd forgotten how much I loved books. I used to read like one book a week. Which was a lot for kids in my class. I was in fourth grade, and one chapter book a week was a lot for a fourth grader.
Now the school part. In choir this week we voted on what play we were going to do. Every year we have a Christmas and a spring play. The last 3 that it came down to was an "Easter Carol", "A Series of Unfortunate Events", and "The Lion King". The winner was "The Lion King". Almost every voted for "The Lion King". It's gunna be soo awesome!
By the way I am so excited for American Idol. I love the beginning the best because the people sound funny.

Something Awesome Happened Today!

Today, was an awesome day at the Connection Church. The message really spoke to me.
It was called "Drinking Deep". "Jesus said,'People need the bread of life; they must feed on every word of God.'" Matthew 4:4. It talked about growing stronger in your faith and with God. That you need to accept the Bible as your authority. That there are fake authorities that people use every day- culture, tradition, reason, and emotion. "Every part of the scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another- showing us the truth, exposing our rebelion, corredting our mistakes, training us to live God's way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us." 2 Timothy 3:16-17. It said that you need to study the Bible on your own. To get down on your knees and get one on one with God. Today was an absolutely GREAT day.

My New Year's Resolution (and an funny thing that Zak said)

Hey, people's so, I have never known what a resolution really was so I'm gunna show you the definition for resolution. It says- resolution- The state or quality of being resolute; firm determination. Okay, so my resolutions are-

And now for my part about Zak. Last Sunday I wore this longish polk-a-dot silver and black shirt. The Whites, the Burlesons, and me and my family went to eat at Mamacita's. We were sitting down and eating and Zak says," I like your dress". It's silly. But, you know that's Zak. :)

Hey whats up. Sorry I haven't blogged in such a long time. I've beaten real busy this blog may be very long because I need to catch upon all the blogging I've missed. I guess I'll seperate this into parts.

The 6th Grade Christmas Party

Okay, part 1. Our class Christmas party was awesome. We had 8 pounds of sausage and 8 pounds of BACON! If you don't already know I LOVE BACON! Its so juicy, but thats beside the point. We played dodgeball, and I got hit in the face. We ate breckfast burritos, and they were DELICIOUS. Then we had an ornament exchange. I got a pretty 1 that played a song while the wise men spun around the nativity scene.
Christmas Eve's Eve
On December 23, our surge band (Josh, Andreas, Dez, and me, Makenzie) played in our churches Rockin' Christmas Eve's Eve service. We were awsome. It was so much fun. The music was awesome, the message was awesome, and everything was totally awesome. When we got home I got to open my Christmas presents. I got a T.V., a DVD player, an IPod dock-thing, and some REALLY cute clothes.

My Trip

It was fun. Santy Clause brought my sister and me a laptop. It is so cool. I got a shirt, Uggs, leg warmers, earings, A Wrinkle in Time, a chick-fil-a gift card, a claire's gift card and coupon book, and some other stuff; I guess this is getting kind of boring, sorry. Then I went to my other grandma's house. That was fun too. We went to the mall, and I got a new
pair of sunglasses. We had a lot of fun.

New Years

We had a New Years party at the West's house. We played Guitar Hero World Tour. I sang, but the only song I knew was "Eye of the Tiger". We did a penny walk. It was so much fun. When we got back from our walk it was only a few minutes till 2009. My dad said a New Year's prayer, and in the middle of it I started laughing. Everyone else started laughing too. My dad had to end the prayer short. Josh took the apple cider bottle, and drank the rest. Then my dad kissed my mom, and I was like,"Get a room." Then my mom said,"I have a room." Then we went on another walk, and a few minutes later I had to go home.

Today

Today I have drainage and it even hurts to talk. Goodness, I need a cough drop. My New Year's resolution is to be healthy and to get more excercise. I am so excited about the New Year. Sorry, I don't have any pics up. I'm still trying to figure out how to work this computer.

I am thankful for my dad, he is strange funny, loving, caring, and totally awesome. All these characteristics make him him. I am thankful for my mom, she is funny, caring, sensitive, busy, but cool at the same time. I am thankful for my little sister, she is taller than me, funny, strange, confused, lovable, and totally crazy. I am thankful for all of my grandparents and step-grandparents who are weird (yes Nanny, I'm talking about you, also you look really weird over there dancing with Bethanie), funny, sweet, caring, and VERY good cooks. I am thankful for my BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD, Bethany Smith, she is in casts right now. She had a surgery on her foot. She is amazing, always full of life, fun, she is very joyful. She is caring, and one of the sweetest friends I have. I love you Bethy. I am thankful for my church. It lifts me up, and gives me hope. I am thankful for Zak, Mrs. Kristi, Nic, Mrs. Jennifer Martinez, Couper, Mrs. Amber, Mrs. Johanna, and baby Bobbino. Ya'll are all awesome. I'm also thankful for Mamacita's, green sauce, chicken salads, food, and FRIED FOOD.

Today I finally cleaned my closet, my room, and my bathroom. It's not easy being clean (ha ha, I just thought of that). It feels good. The ONLY time I'm in my room is when i go to bed, and I sometimes don't even sleep in there. I really need to be in there some more, but there's nothing to do in there. The only thing i have in there is a small book shelf with 15 books that I've already read, a radio, some cds, my bed, a beach chair, a mushroom chair, a night stand, a lamp, and some other lights, but there's nothing to do. I could listen to music or read a book but thats a little boring sometimes. Anyways, enough pouting for a day.
Church was awesome yesterday. The power went out. So, we set up some chairs in the front area brought out some instruments, and it was a blast to the past! The infants were brought into the same room as the preschoolers. It was so much fun. In the second service the music was AWESOME! I gotta give props to Micah for his rockin' song and props to Zak for his awesome sermon, the balloons were my favorite part. Surge was fun. The season premiere of 24 came on. My sister said she didn't feel good. She went to bed while she was waching "Superman II".
Tomorrow, I'll probably do nothing. I'll probably be super bored. Next time I blog I'm gunna start to show the TCC "Office" series, but for now I'll show you something old but cool from TCC.

Wow (and Christmas)

First of all I would like to say I'm sorry for not blogging. I've been REALLY busy. School is nuts. So much homework and then when I'm done I just crash because its tiring. I think it's kind of silly how I get up early to go to school to do work, and then I stay up to do more work when I get home. I'm really tired right now. I've had a fun weekend. I went to elevate retreat it was fun. We played sardines and capture the flag in the dark in a place called pioneer town. Our band played at the retreat, and I still don't know how we did. At church my dad keeps saying that we need to get "freaky". Life is the same pretty much I have reports and papers due by the bagillions. Right now I just want to lay on the couch and watch Christmas movies on abc family. Thats actually what I'm doing at this very second. Sitting on the couch. Typing. I love Christmas, and I love Christmas movies. The one that I'm watching right now is pretty funny, It's called "Santa Baby". These elves are clueless. We went on a walk. Zak gave me an itunes card that I won on his blog.

The Trip

Sorry y'all that i haven't posted in a while. I had a very busy week. i went to Corpus Christi on a field trip Wednesday.
Wednesday morning I got up at 5:30. I left home at 6. I rode in a none heated car for 45 minutes. I got to the school and found out that we had gotten a smaller bus than what we were supposed to get. I sat with my friends till our teacher said we could put our stuff on the bus. I sat in the very back where there were 5 seats. The order was, from left to right, Katy, Morgan, me, Bethany, and her boyfriend, Collin. In front of me were Tim, Barrett, Alex, and Madison. We pulled out, and rode for an hour or so, and then we stopped in New Braunfels at a bakery called Naeglans. We rode for a couple more hours. Finally, we got to Corpus. We went to an aquarium. I saw some jellyfish that looked absolutely amazing. We ate at subway. Then we went to a museum. Then we went to the Lexington.
The Lexington is an aircraft carrier from WWII. It has been turned into a museum. We went in put our bags down, and went back up 2 ladders. We ate dinner. Then we had a scavenger hunt. Its pretty spooky, and really stuffy because sometimes you're under 5 levels of stainless steel. It was also fun. We saw the captains cabin. We also went up to the flight deck, and it is absolutely amazing. You can look over the edge at the water. It is 300 meters long. After that we went to bed, and the girls next door were very loud. i memorized what happened, and this is really funny. My teacher went over to the door," Girls, Girls." 1 girl says," Oh my goodness, it's a little kid!" Girl opens door, and my teacher says," No, it is not a little kid." Girl says, No it's not." My teacher," Y'all need to keep it quiet. There are people over here who are trying to sleep." Girl says," We'll try." My teacher," I think you'll do more than try." it was hilarious! Then we all fell asleep.
The next morning I got up at 5:50 so that I wouldn't be woken up by Revelry I think is the song ( I'm just guessing that that's what its called). I got all packed and then sat on the ground on top of my pillow for 20 minutes or so. We went to Breakfast and later did morning colors. Then I bought a dog tag. Then, me, Morgan, Tim, Barrett, Victoria, Amber, Collin, and some parents went on a flight simulator. I sat in the front. To get to the front seat there is a little space between 2 of the 4 front seats. I sat next to that space on the right, and every time it would turn left, I would fall out of my seat, because in the front there are no seat belts. In the back there are seat belts,but not in the front. then we went on tour number four. I think that it is the scariest tour on the boat. we saw the barber shop, the dentist office, the sick bay, the kitchen, the machine room, the fire room, the cafeteria, the art gallery the engine room, and the bomb room. We got lost from the parents for a while on that tour, and everyone was saying that it was like a haunted house, and I kept saying that it wasn't that scary. Then one of the parents made a noise, and I was the only one who shot straight out of the room. It was pretty scary. Then we realized we were late. So we were trying to get out quickly. Mrs. Turner was in front of me, I was the second person in line walking out. We were in line because the hall was very narrow. We had to walk through a dark room, and some of the lights and voice recordings are motion activated. So she was almost out of the room , and I was half way out when all of the sudden the lights turned on and the recording started playing. I turned, and looked, and there was a manikin with an axe in his hand. So i screamed, and everyone could hear me. It was really scary. By the way if you didn't realize it already, we were in the firefighter room. We got down the ramp, and on the bus. We had to eat our lunch on the bus. Then we rode to Porta Ranses. We got on the Katy, and Dolphins swam next to our boat. I got to hold a jellyfish, a squid, and a bunch of fish. Then we went back to Corpus, and ate at black beards. I had fish, fries, a piece of shrimp, a piece of calamari (squid), some garlic bread, a salad, and some cake for about 11 dollars. Then we got back on the bus, and got home at midnight.
It was a lot of fun.

Volleyball

I started playing some volleyball with my mom on the concreet outside. It was ok although almost all I did was chase the balls my mom hit. Then, we went into our next door neighbors back yard, because he has a net. But then, Chris and his son Chris came out and it was parents verses kids. They won. The score was 6 to 15. We lost. Not so good.

Last night I had a dream, that I was going on a field trip. Then some how I ended up in some weird place. There was the castle, and Julie Andrews was the queen. I and some one else were looking in a bard window, and she saw us. Then she walked very calmly out of the castle place. I and the other person started running away, but then she started running after us. Then she started throwing fire-balls at me. So, I ran into an ice-cream place (I think it was a Ben and Jerry's). The 2 ladie's that were in there let me hide in there . Then, I woke up. So, anyone wanna tell me what that means?

Corpus Christi

October 29, our class is going on our first over-night field trip. We are going to stay the night on the Lexington, and ride the Katy. I am so excited. Although, the bunks on the Lexington don't have very much room to move and neither do the showers. It'll still be fun.

This week I've learned that I don't have to worry about whats gunna happen next. I mean I've heard everyone say it , but i never really tried it. But, if you just let God take control, He's gunna help you.
2 Samuel 7:28 says "O Sovereign LORD, you are God! Your words are trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant." So I guess i finally get it, just take a chill-pill, and God will take care of the rest

Hey yall sorry i havn't posted anything in such a long time. School is crazy. Here's what I do- Get up at 5:45, leave house 6:30, get to school 7:30, get to class 7:45, 5 classes, lunch at 11:45, 4 classes, leave 3:15, get home between 4:30 and 5:30, do homework, 6:30 dinner, finish homework, go to bed 9:00. Really crazy. My choir teacher is working with the producer of David Crowder Band, Ms. Laura Wascom. I love the weekend. My back hurts. This storm is kinda fun. Sunday rocks since we have 2 services at church (rock on TCC band)! I love surge. I also have an addiction to orange juice. It just tastes so orangey. I also love chicken salad. Gosh, what a week.

I really hate being sick because I'm stuck at home all day with nothing to do while I sit by the toilet and throw up. Did u know that u can up chuck water? I learned that today. I feel really crumy right now. I can't barely drink anything (except for Sprite) without blowing chuncks. I can't wait to be well because Spring Break is coming up, and I'm going to Missouri with a friend and I'm going camping with my family. My dad has decided to start a spring break tradition by going camping every year. Last year it rained the whole time and there was a leak in my sister and I's tent so we had to sleep on wet blankets. Then when we went hiking we went down a really steep hill and I had to hold on to things to keep standing up. I pricked my finger on 2 cactuses and 1 piece of wood. I'm not to excited about the 1 this year. Of course I have to go.

One thing to say Hannah Montana Freak!!! Today my friend's mom got in line at H-E-B (skipping her lunch) to buy a wrist band. This wrist band is like the lottery. This doesn't ensure that she will get a ticket to the Hannah Montana concert. The people who buy the wrist bands will hear a number called out if they hear their number they can buy a ticket. Bethany has a lifesize Hannah Montana poster. A few Hannah Montana purses. 2 Hannah Montana lunch boxes. And she is going to get a Hannah Montana blanket. Peaces.
